Welcome!

My name is Myeongjun (MJay) Choi and I am a Mechanical Engineering undergraduate student at Georgia Institute of Technology with a Quantum Science and Technology minor. I am a huge fan of outdoor activities, photography, and love playing sports such as soccer.

Challenge, Learning, Teamwork - these three words describe me the best as a person. I am always in search of something that I can test my limits and challenge myself. By challenging myself, I learn lessons that cannot be learned anywhere else. Along the journey, teamwork is an essential factor - if you want to go far, go together.

Over the years, I’ve embraced various roles—from designing swerve motor systems and Hi-Pot machine components to co-founding a startup that secured a $20K investment, as well as serving as a squad leader at a military academy. These hands-on experiences have taught me the power of teamwork to transform ideas into tangible impact.

On the technical side, I’m skilled in CAD (NX, SolidWorks, Inventor), FEA/CFD (Altair Inspire, Ansys CFX), DFM/DFA/GD&T, Design of Experiments, Data Analysis, and MATLAB/LabVIEW. I pair these technical skills with strong problem-solving, decision-making, and strategic planning.

Currently, I’m seeking a full-time Mechanical Engineering role starting May 2025. I’m excited to innovate within global industries and lead teams to success through effective engineering design, leadership, and collaboration. Let’s connect and see how we can go further—together.
